Has anybody else tried these Google Apps? I've installed the Blacked-out Youtube & The New Playstore 4.0.25. They both look pretty cool! I especially like the New Playstore! If you wanna give it a try here's the link...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16962544
Follow instructions in that thread & you should be Ok, as I'm in no way responsible for anyone's problems that might occur!

**Thanks go out to B-boy™ at XDA for all his hard work!**

I've done the Playstore one, and it really is pretty cool.... too bad the Gmail doesn't work for us though.. Would love to have a blacked out Gmail..

Damn...I get a parse error when I try installing it. I read somewhere that apps that are made for newer versions of Android are still supposed to be compatible with older ones, but I guess that's not the case. On the other hand, you can only be backwards-compatible for so long before you break the old or cripple the new.

Ok guys, here's what I ended up with...Google Play Store, Google Currents, Google Drive, Google Play Music, Google Settings, Google Translate, Google Voice, & YouTube. Voice does have a glitch with some text, but I just wanted the black widget anyways. Lol! Maps has a couple more so I left it alone. The rest don't work for me. A few of these I really don't use, but I got plenty of room on my phone so why not.

The main two I do like are the New Play Store & YouTube! The Play Store especially because of the different colors to choose from. They go with whatever theme your running!
