Help My Unrooted Motion always shows update available...

I have a version "C"

It would ask if I wanted to update to "D" and I always declined
Now it just shows an install now when I into the message... if I go back to clear it immediately shows the same yet again...

I moved your thread to the General section of this device forum since it is non-root related. :) Does this show up when you have WIFI or data enabled? If it does you can try to power the device off than on again. If that doesn't help you could go through with the update or we can find other solutions which I'm sure there are ones. :)

Your best bet is to root. Then just freeze the OTA update app via link2sd or tibu to get rid of those annoying notifications. Also, if you accidentally updated but wanna go back to an earlier firmware, this is possible by following the unbrick/ unroot guide: http://androidforums.com/motion-4g-all-things-root/610609-guide-unbrick-unroot-lg-motion-4g-kdz.html
With that route, you can switch to whatever firmware you prefer. It also comes in handy if you decide to get experimental with it. It's saved my @$$ from a soft-brick a couple times already after deleting or changing something that I shouldn't have. It's sorta like a fail-safe to get you back-to-stock settings.

I ended up just updating...
says version F is now wanting to be installed but lets me get out of that screen without constantly coming back up again...

Any problems with version F?
