Root someone help, i have 3g but no data

Like i said i have 3g, tthe transfer bars are lighting up. I can make calls, send and receive texts. But anything internet related doesn't work, chrome said error 102 connection rejected in any website. Facebook said network error. Nothing loads at all. I callled vm and got nowhere 3 times. Just got the take the battery out bs. I even restored an old backup. And nothing. im losing my patience. Someone please help me

same issues here but that tends to be how virgin service works...
 
This might be a moot/noob response, but do you have the box w/Mobile Data enabled in your settings?:idea:

I seem to be experiencing the same issue, but the Activating thing won't help.

I was on the Partytime Rom for a few weeks, and then flashed to Super Helado. Following this, almost all the apps I had would not work over 3g, even though it was clearly on. Only the up arrow would flash. The curious thing is that Google Maps and Facebook worked.

I looked around and saw that possibly reactivating would solve this issue, so I restored from a backup I made while I was on the stock rom. I activated it again, and the same apps still wouldn't work over 3g.

I have no idea what to do now since I've talked to customer support already but they couldn't figure it out and scheduled for some sort of specialist to call back, but they never did.
