:thumbup: BTW: 1d11h39m on one charge. Finally had to plug it in because of all the posting/editing I just did with phone. LoL

BTW... Orange looks sick on black. :D It seems I'll be able to post it soon. Doing one last touchup.
 
I am having a deal breaker of an issue. I love this ROM and am downloading the orange theme but...
My Hotspot isn't functioning It's greyed out. Makes me sad my home DSL is way slower than my hotspot. Thanks for all the hard work GT, I hope you know a fix for this though

Hotspot works just fine. I never touched that app. I'm sure others will confirm. Till then here's a screen shot confirming....

Hmmm. Mine works. at the time of turning it on were you on 4G or did it say EV? I only ask because that is the most common problem that people report.
BTW I'm not insinuating your a noob.

jasonzech is 100% correct. Metro PCS has clearly said that it's a 4G mobile hotspot and will only work with a 4G signal. If you don't have a 4G signal the hotspot will be greyed out. You also must have wifi turned off.
 
Noob status confirmed! Yeah I'm down in San Diego getting only 1x. Thanks for the info it never occurred to me that the check box would be affected by current signal. Great ROM :-)

Instructions:

---(optional) Backup apps, call logs, and messages with Titanium

* Do not skip any of these next steps *

---Boot into recovery and do a nandroid backup
---Wipe data/factory reset
---Wipe cache
---Advanced - Wipe dalvik cache
---Hit home buttom to switch to external sd and then install zip from SD
---First boot takes a couple minutes (don't panic) this is normal on first boot to rebuild dalvik cache.
--------------------------------------------
---Once the rom is installed you can restore apps, call log, and messages.
---Do not restore system settings... Settings from old rom to new rom can cause bugs.

Nice, since I'm on the Motion I can't use it, obviously. However I have a question. How did you get your screen shots in a frame of the phone? I know that the Nexus 4 has that capability because there is something put out by the developers, but I didn't know the Spirit did. Is that available for the Motion as well?

That's the magic of GIMP :D, but I'm almost certain there should be a photo editing app on play to do this within the phone. ;)

Thanks. I haven't really played with GIMP. I'm running Ubuntu, so maybe I'll give it a try. I assume you just take a stock photo of the phone, and then paste your screen shot?

Yes sir.

Go to LG website and get image of your phone then open in gimp. Now open the screen shot as a new layer resize to image screen then merge the layers. Now save as png to keep any transparency attribute.

'Course, now I have to figure out how to resize the screen shot image so it'll fit in the phone image. Oh well, noob at the GIMP.

In the tool side panel look for the scale tool. Rest the cursor on it and you'll get a popup with the name of the tool. Then once the tool is selected click on the image and enter width + height you desire. There's a measuring tool to help you figure the scale size you need. Use that tool to measure the touch screen size and that will be your screen shot size. This would also be a similar process in photoshop if you so choose.

I just found something. when you click on the wallpaper in the lock screen settings, the menu is white on white.

I actually noticed that too, but since there's 2 icons on that menu, I didn't drive myself crazy over it. That will be in the list for an update though. lol
 
So I noticed from your screenshots GT that your folders don't have the rounded, one behind the other look that mine do, but are more visible in your layout. How do I set mine that way? I am talking about android desktop folders btw lol

---Go to /nova settings/folders/folder background/select platform

---Go to /nova settings/folders/folder preview/select grid

That's actually my fav look right now for the folders. lol
