Root [ROM][MS870] Katana

I'll let you know Tuesday when it gets delivered. Now another question. It has a HDMI port on it. From the looks of it. It is exactly the same look as the full HDMI port on a TV but on a smaller scale. What kind of cable do I need to buy? I bought one micro HDMI cable to HDMI and the damn plug is almost the same size of the micro USB (the cord not the actually HDMI port on tablet)

reading the specs it say hdmi port. so it maybe just a normal one

****. Oh well. I'm using the tablet. Pretty nice. Snappy little thing. Streaming movies from my PC to it and hooked up HDMI to other TV in another room. Smooth. Not bad for $99 I paid LoL. Quad core really helps!
 
Why not just hook an external up to your tv, that's what I do. Download what I want, throw it on the external and bam! Streaming gets to messy if you ask me, I used to do it with my Xbox from my pc, not always so pleasant lol.
 
Hey guys, is their any way to flash the original gallery spirit app for ice scream sandwich to my phone? I really miss the old set up.

External HD or flash drive on USB port? I would but my stupid TV in the other room doesn't support video playback through USB LoL. Cheap HDTV.

Did you check out your cable box ar satilite box ? Most of the new ones have a USB port that you can use to play back from .
 
My tv has two usb slots on the side of it, one I plug my external in, the same way you'd do to your computer.


My Samsung 46in plasma and my Samsung 32in LCD both support usb playback from my external.

I have comcast. The USB Port on it doesn't do nothing except for charging. I've even called Comcast and asked about the USB port. They had them because they were gonna do something with them but decided not too. LoL

Still the best LG Spirit ROM by far. I stuck with Samurai for about half a year, trimmed the fat, uninstalling Toucher and tweaking things here and there, and tried to make the best of it. Samurai may be more up to date than this one, but just for battery life Katana is the dog's bollocks, I reverted back to this one and couldn't believe how long the battery lasts. I can come home from work, not charge up the phone overnight, and leave with it in the morning and it just doesn't matter. I've never had this kind of experience with an Android phone short of using some stupid oversized battery. And before anybody mentions it, my experience was from using the Freedom overclock kernel with both ROMs, just night and day.

So I suppose I'll be sticking with Katana for at least as long as I stick with the LG Spirit. Props to GT for the brill ROM.
 
Battery life is the same for me no matter which rom I'm on. It all comes down to the installed apps and how you use your phone.
