Here's the other 2 but they've already been posted I think.

Edit: Once again these pics are from TechLand, not mine (Sorry for the Watermark being cut off)

I think it's safe to say that the optical trackpad illuminates along with the other buttons. It's that way in a few pictures. That's a nice feature I guess. Looks good.

Edit: No...I may be wrong. Maybe it is just a reflection from the flash. Because in the first picture the buttons aren't glowing but the trackpad apears to be. So, if it were illuminating along with the other buttons it would be dark when they are dark.

Nope, it's not. Same screen. 3.7" OLED 480x800. Exact same size screen as the Nexus One and the Desire.

I was told the same thing. No one year option. Can't pay additional $70.00 and get 1 year like you can at VZW.

I just looked at my account to see the difference between one and two year contracts (just looked at the Motorola Droid, because the price should be comparable) and it looks like it's $110 more, not $70.

it's probably metal or something shiny and the light from the camera is reflecting off of it making it look that way. i hope i am wrong b/c that would be so sick

Yeah. I'm with you on this one. I think we can go ahead and just disregard the part where they said that the screen was more narrow than the Nexus One. That's horse crap. It's the same size. 3.7" OLED 480x800 WVGA screen, minus the multi-touch bug that the Nexus One has/had. So, let's just move on and forget that they even wrote that. They must have just thought it looked more narrow because the phones are different and the Nexus is a wider phone with more rounded corners. Optical illusion. End. Of. Story.
Also, black is slimming...:D

Yea I think it's a reflection too, but if it did illuminate I think that would be pretty cool.

sorry for re-posting. i think the answer is yes but can you download apps such as handcent sms on the incredible or does sense u.i not allow you for some reason?

hey guys this is my first time posting but ive been following from the begginning. glad to join and cant wait for this new phone!!!!!:)

Yes, it definitely would be cool. This phone just keeps getting better, in my opinion. From the recent official pictures released by Verizon I was a little worried about it not looking nice, but from the new pictures we've seen today, I love the way it looks in the wild. Very sleek, to the point, professional looking and also packs a beast of a phone under the hood.

2yr droid is 199.99
1yr jumps to 269.99 on my vzw

yours shouldnt be different, not sure though

You can use Handcent ... You'll just have to deactivate the stock SMS or you'll get duplicate messages in each program (Really easy to do though)

Does anyone know if the Incredible has a soft-to-the-touch texture on it's back? It sort of looks like it in these pics.

i love the sense music player, weather animations, built in flash and clock, but wish i could put it back to stock android with those features. maybe in a custom rom once it gets rooted we can be able to do that? i want to be able to pick certain things from both.

I e-mailed Verizon this morning to ask about having my NE2 moved up from 7/8, and they did. Here is their response:

"Thank you for contacting Verizon Wireless through our website. My name is --, and I received your email in which you are asking about the possibility of having your New Every Two Upgrade moved up from 7/8/2010 to 4/29/2010. I appreciate your interest in the Droid Incredible. Having the opportunity to upgrade to the latest phones is always an exciting time for me too. I will be happy to assist you with your inquiry.

Ms. --, in seeing that you have been such a loyal customer with an incredible payment history since 2003, your eligible upgrade date has been moved up to 4/29/2010. After logging into your My Verizon account, you will be able to see the update. Keep in mind, with the new phone, you will be agreeing to a new one or two-year contract.

I hope you enjoy using the new Droid Incredible. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to assist you today. We appreciate your business and thank you for using Verizon Wireless. Should you have additional questions or concerns, please reply to this e-mail."

Not sure if it'll work for everybody, but it's worth a shot.

I agree the pictures of it in the wild are much more fun to look at so I can't wait for some reviews.

Looks like your renders were pretty accurate though, other than the blackish trackpad.

Just because they are both 3.7 inch diagonally, doesn't mean they necessary have the same width screen.

The N1 is 2.35 inches wide and the D-Inc is 2.30 inches wide, so the dimensions of the actual screen could be different, but probably not noticeably so.

Seems likely that it is exactly the same screen...and that the user just felt the phone width difference in his hands...

Ohh... my 2yr droid was 149.99 with NE2, and 269.99 for 1yr (i'm a CPA and still can't figure out that 269-149 = 120, not 110)

the 1yr must not let you use the NE2 credit. Bummer.

I wonder if we'll be able to download and install a launcher like Helix Launcher and use that rather than the Sense launcher but still have access to HTC Widgets. Might be worth checking out if anyone knows someonee with a phone running Sense.

one year agreements through the automated system will not let you use your ne2 discount. However, a phone/store rep might be persuaded to add the NE2 discount if you're lucky enough.

Thanks for the clarification - it may be worth $70 or even $120 if you want to switch to an LTE capable phone in a year, as Verizon's Early Termination Fee (ETF) is $230 after one year (pro-rated $10/month over a year from an initial $350 ETF). Crazy!

i was wondering too. i love things about both of them and wish you can choose parts from both. i also like just the little dots on the bottom to show what homepage you're on along with the nexus one's status bar. (does the incredible's drop down also like the n1's?) and i want the 3-d launcher. all while running sense ui
