New Lg Spirit user.

Well me and my wife that is....I love this phone and feel its an update from the motion and the esteem. The only problem Ive had with it is the 4g on my phone wasnt working but thats because they never activated my sim card. Weird I thought but whatever.

The next problem I had was they told me and my wife we HAD to upgrade our plan. We were on the $30 promo plan that had 250 mb of data. Im always on wifi so I barely use my data. Anyways they made me update to the $40 family plan which made no sense imo. I went from two esteem to two spirits so someone help me understand why I had to switch plans. I wish I could have my promo back because now im paying 20$ more a month.

Anyways phone is great, metro customer service and way they do things is horrible. Battery, camera, speed and stability are nice for my needs.

welcome to the forum. where did you get the phones from? you shouldn't have had to loose your grandfathered plan. I didn't

Yeah see I dont get why I had to change mine....and they wont change it back as I countinue to call and complain about it..oh well I guess

I'm not trying to diss you here really, but if you had checked here ahead of time you'd have known you didn't have to switch plans.

You allowed yourself to get screwed. In Metro's defense, I'll bet hard cash this happened at a authorized dealer store and not a Corporate store. If you'd just followed the general rule here of dealing Mostly with Corp stores, you'd have likely not had this issue.

When it comes to rate plans, once you allow yourself to get shafted, it's LOTS hard After The Fact to get unshafted.

If I were you I would become a polite but persistent Hugh Jass burning bag of dog crap on the front porch of their Faceplant page about this until they put you back. That's probably your best chance of getting unshafted IMO.

naw what happen is he he got it off the net. and made the mistake of calling in to have them activated instead of going online and doing it him self.

Thats what i thought...and i got them from wirefly.

you made the mistake of calling in to activated it. the people that work the phone services for metro don't have a clue what they are doing, they are just phone monkey's, also I'm sure metro trained them to be slime and try and suck as much money they can out of people, They know how to take peoples money but don't know how to give it back quickly. if you had gone to their website you could have activated it and not been screwed.

I called my activation for the Spirit in too. No one made any effort whatsoever to move me off my $55 (no longer active) plan.

yea i made the mistake and now im living with it until further notice lol. I like the crap on the porch idea tho....i will start reading and researching before i do anything else with metro.

Look at it this way,

it'd be very Christlike of you to do the Faceplant thing.
