also...one more question for you guys that have been tweaking this..
what is a good DPI to use for this?...because, and it could just be me, but it seems that stuff is larger than it was on Stock...i would like stuff to be a little smaller....

I flashed from 4-22 to 4-28 but it was highly unstable and the backlight problem was a real pain. I am going to be using 4-22 for the time being since it is all I need. (I use my phone as an iPod, no service/data). However if you do need those thing try out the fixes! Other than that by next build we will probably be in full daily status! Good job guys!

okay, well...this is the second time i've had it happen...so i am reporting it as a bug
Version: 4-22 with all the tweaks the johnny listed..
Bug: after installing a game i have to restart for the volumes to work.
The good news: Dungeon Hunter 4 works really well....

A little?... Its very strange in that volume rockers, sound recorder, stock cm10 dialer, will all lagg hardcore for me and crash. This only will happen during the first couple hours of use after installing. I have tried all builds over all firmwares, and nothing changes this.
A little side note, i tried flashing the polly zip provided by jhonny, and it failed to install... maybe ill try installing just the apk like normal apps.
In addition all the fixes provided by jhonny seem to work, except the 4g fix doesn't stick, on reboot i lose all connection until i reflash the fix. hmmm.

You could toggle airplane mode on and off instead...
, hahahaa oh my. I'm sorry for laughing, it's just a bit funny. You don't have to re flash it every reboot , just toggle airplane mode on and off, that fixes it..roachdogg28

Or toggling airplane mode didn't change ish. I had to reflash to correct it.

Do the unbrick to version E and then flash CM10

And that's weird..
Look in the 4g fix zip file.
There should be an xbin folder and inside there there should be a cm10.tar file.
Check if it's there. If not. Download the zip all over again from here

Extract it. Change the build.prop from the one in it to the one that Johnny made, and then compress it again. And now flash. That should fix it. if you don't want to compress the file. Just make a zip folder, and move the files onto there with the replaced build.prop. and then Flash, if that doesn't work. Do a unbrick to version E and then flash all over again.

the buildprop was removed from 4g fix so it's required to flash buildprop zip or at least copy 4-28 buildprop to system because 4-22 buildprop doesnt have the 4g entries

On 4/22 build. Flashed 4g fix and modified build.prop.
I'm getting no force closes at all. But I did have the frozen status bar but its not frequent. But.. it was not really "frozen" like when I pulled it down. It was down. But just not showing that it was. I know this because after moving my fingers as if I were pulling down. I wasn't able to touch my visible wallpaper and apps. But then I moved my fingers up as if I were closing it. I could.
Yup, I'm getting the same thing. I know its there but its not showing up. When I swipe down and do the gestures for "app info" the "app info" option shows up. Here's the app info option I'm talking about

From my earlier idea, the polly.apk and supporting files did nothing for the echo.
This was flashed on top of the 4/22 build with necessary build prop mod changing sdk value to 17. This does not rule this thing out completely, just wont work if this file is from a different phone. Who knows what would happen if there was one built for our application.

Can someone post alot of screenshots please? like pictues of settings, home screen, app drawer, notification bar, boot up animation, shutdown animation, camera layout, messaging layout, (stock apps layouts), etc... alot of screenshots. I want to see if its worth flashing (im pretty sure it is), but i just need to see it before downloading. Thank you for anyone willing to help!!
