Just had an interesting phone call with someone at the closet Best Buy Mobile near me (1 hour away). I asked about pre-ordering the HTC Incredible and she told me she had them in stock... I made sure she heard me right. Now should I take a drive?
but does the zagg do a good job of anti-glare? that's my biggest thing since everyone is saying it will be hard to see in daylight.
i have an LG Dare, and for anyone else who has one too, you know it'd be easier to kidnap Obama than see your screen outside on a sunny day, i want those days to be over.
Can existing customer, due for an annual upgrade on their 2 year contract, pre order (BB or VZ) I think I read that you can't.
Sorry, I tried looking at most of the previous 39K + posts, but couldn't find the post
You are playing with our emotions like Emeril with gaaah-lic![]()

Pretty sure you'll regret it when she says she was mistaken and doesn't have any.

Having a phone in stock and actually being able to sell it to you are not always the same thing. Did you ask her if she can actually sell you one today?Probably. I'm going to have my wife call when she comes home in an hour and see what they say then.
You're right- that was terrible!Award for the most poorly-written article today goes to...
If you're asking if someone whose contract is up for renewal can pre-order this phone, of course they can. Why wouldn't a current customer be able to pre-order this?
The only thing that might prevent anyone from pre-ordering is if you're behind on your account, or something of that nature.![]()
FWIW
I live in ND and called Best Buy on yesterday. the Mobile Manager said without hesitation the pre order starts Sunday the 18th. Tomorrow already.....hard to believe!
1. Currently, your New Every Two upgrade date is set for 10/5/2010. A new 2-year customer agreement is required to receive the additional $50.00 New Every Two credit at the time of your eligibility.
Therefore, if you were to accept a new 2-year customer agreement after 10/5/2010, you will receive the 2-year promotional price of any phone we offer plus any applicable mail-in-rebate. You will also receive up to an additional $50.00 credit off the phone.
2. Since you are interested in only a 1-year contract, the New Every Two credit would not be an option. Currently, you are eligible to participate in our Annual Upgrade program at anytime.
With this option, you may accept a 1 or 2-year customer agreement. Keep in mind that the price of the phone will be different based on the contract term you select. Typically, but not always; there is about a $50.00 price difference between the 1 and 2-year price of our phones. You receive a bigger discount by signing the 2-year customer agreement.
I recommend accepting a 1-year customer agreement and taking advantage of your Annual Upgrade when the HTC Incredible is released. Unfortunately, we do not have pricing information on this phone yet as it has not been released.
However; when you sign 1-year customer agreements, you may upgrade to a new device every 10 months, as opposed to waiting 12 months (Annual) or 20 months (New Every Two) on a 2-year customer agreement.
You will pay a little more for the phone, but you will have the option to change phones more frequently as you mentioned in your email. If you have additional questions, you may contact our Customer Service Department at 800-922-0204, or by dialing airtime free from a Verizon Wireless cell phone *611 (SEND).

If the stores open at 7am, like they did for the Moto Droid launch in November, don't plan on your store still having any left at 9am....![]()
My contract isn't up. My 2 year date is November, my NE2 date is July, but I'm eligible for my annual upgrade (with 20.00 upgrade fee) now. this is where I thought I read that VZ will not pre order for me. Hope I'm wrong
