Ok i know this is prolly posted already but i couldnt find it. so im really tired of waiting for the ota i was wondering if i go ahead and install the leaked version will i still be able to do the OTA when it finally comes out?
 
Search this forum, but the official 2.1 is available for download. There's no need for the leaked version.

Don't install any 2.1 update without rooting your phone first. Trust me, root your phone and you'll have the 2.1 update plus access to alot more.
 
I am going to beat a dead horse but... I have the 2.1 leak I believe v1... here there any way to roll back to 1.5 so I can root...

Question 2...

Where is the official 2.1 release... I cannot find it on the forum anywhere

When you say the "official 2.1" are you referring to the 2nd version? Or did I miss something?

Everyone is assuming that because the software version number will be higher that it should update without any issues.

The worse case scenario is that we would have to copy the official update file to the SD card and upgrade the same way as the 2.1 leak.

Not a snowballs chance in heck in rolling back at the moment.

If you have 2.1v1 I would suggest going ahead and upgrading to 2.1v2 as there are some bug and stability improvements that make it worth doing.
