Root No MMS and Data not working on Some Apps

Since yesterday Some of my Apps will not work on 3g or 4g No MMS at all.
Google now works, GPS works, but the browser speed test and several others no longer work. They do work on WIFI though. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm Running WFTN 5-1 rom but have tried on my other backups and still have the same issue. I Tried my backup of Mobster V and stock rom.

Anyone have a suggestion?
 
I was having similar problem I booted up Harmonia and ran the prl update and profile update. Also I stopped using format all partions except sd card, and started hitting them all separate, twice. Then it worked again finally, hope that helps

Edit: it worked fine on harmonia but when I switched back to a 4.2 rom it would still do the same thing, until I ran the updates

How do you run the updates on 4.2 roms? Specifically WFTN?

Has your montly bill been up recently? If so, it might be that the bill got stuck in the process. That's what happened to me and a few others on here.

**FIXED** Data connection issue - Android Forums

My new Month started on the 3rd but I paid my month in advance so that shouldn't have been an issue. I only used 340mb of data last month so I didn't go over.

This just doesn't make any sense how can some apps work with data but others not it's baffling me.

Sounds kinda like me. I had my paid in advance also. It was just the processing of it. Wouldn't hurt to call and have them specifically check that out.

I just got off the phone with them they are resetting my service/device I have to pull the battery for about 5 minutes and then it should be good to go.
Let's see if this works.

Didn't work I asked them to reset my month they gave me the line my issue is escalated...
 
That is unfortunate. I had to do a battery pull to and wait up to 2 hours, they said. Sorry it wasn't my issue. I feel your frustration, i went days calling them trying everything they could think of. Is it under warranty still? They offered to replace mine, as nothing they did was working to fix my issue. On the Monday I called back, that's when the last technician figured out my service problem.

Sorry again, hope it works and they get you going.

Thanks Yeah it is, the Rep did mention a replacement if they can't figure it out. She stated she has had several of the same calls as mine in the last few days.
I'm guessing maybe there is a glitch with the system not the phones.

I am sure it is related to the transfer of certain customers to a new system they are using, so they say. i happen to be one of the people that is on the new system. WoooWhooo. At least there is some light at the end of the tunnel for you if it does not work out via a replacement. :)
 
Yeah. I'm currently having the same problem. I'm going to wait until my month is up and restart my plan. I'm sure that it is the fact that they're pushing all their customers to a new account management system as stated by other users on here already. They already sent me a replacement and its having the same problem so its obviously their system. You could restart your plan now, losing however many days you have left on your month if you need it that bad or wait it out till your next billing cycle. Mines only until the 15th so I'm just going to wait. I Hope this solves the problem for everyone :)

UPDATE:.... Well since they wouldn't restart my 35 dollar plan I called and upgraded to 45 dollar plan for 10 bucks took the battery out for 5 mins and now everything works again. hope this doesn't happen every month lol.

This whole monthly thing for people seems to be coming up a lot recently. Glad you got it going, to bad it cost you the 10 bucks.
