Did auto brightness not work on the april rom for you?

It's been working for me and WAY better than it ever did on the stock froyo rom.

Other folks, thanks for the comments on not reformatting to install april rom, I will format and do it the right way.

I almost switched to EVO with the $35 dollar update a month, but after flashing this rom, my triumph is like a new phone. I'm happy to say I'm keeping it.

ok I'll do it the proper way. Will paranoid settings app see it's backup config file from my sdcard when I start over with the may update?

I think auto brightness is working for me, but I can't tell. It's cloudy today and the lights in my office aren't triggering noticable changes. But, it's registering the slight changes in light. I will have to find a brighter light source or wait for the sun to come out to really test this though.

EDIT: Auto Brightness works, it's the default values that aren't working for me. My sensor isn't reading beyond 45-50 in direct, bright sunlight (yay the sun came out!). I reset my custom values from the default 0-945 accordingly and things are working decently.

probably i did something wrong.

btw.. that's how i flash rom..
factory reset(data+cache) -> wipe system -> wipe dalvik cache
then flash rom -> gnow -> gapp -> cm9 interface
last, reboot...:confused:

I think it may have to do with the optional script in the symlinked Gapps. We didn't have camera when I made them so the optional stuff never got tested. I'll look in to it.

I'm sure I used it, if you go to system settings then security then lock screen then screen lock then you can choose face unlock

system settings>security>lock screen>screen lock>face unlock

I've played with it it is fully functional or at least as it works with my face

Ermm.. I can't.. find it. I've looked everywhere in the settings, sorry for the low quality image also, apparently images get compressed really tightly when you send them through MMS.

The system settings that you have there look NOTHING like the ones for PA CM9 for the Triumph.I'll try to upload some pics for you to see.

It should be in between slide and pattern

I think the theme wouldn't apply if it was, maybe, I'll take it off...


Nope still there, I remember MiUi had the face unlock working, but due to the fact MiUi's front camera didn't work I couldn't try it. What packages did you flash when you installed this ROM? Bsyds or Dsymryder said it could be because of Gapps, so I just wanna make sure.

Just have the regular GAPPS and BSydz latest install on this May 6th version.I'll post the screenshot I have of it so idk why it's not showing at all on your end.
 
Face Unlock does not work. Every time I try to start it it says face unlock cannot start. The front and rear cameras are working flawlessly so it should work right?. Also I'm having trouble downloading the stock cm9 mode changer media fire keeps coming up with authorize dl but won't let me authorize it. Can someone help me get a good or diff link? maybe drop box or something?
 
OK never mind bout the cm9 mode changer I manually changed what I wanted so I'm good on that but would like to find out why face unlock is not working.

I used it just fine.It takes awhile for it to save your face.It had to be in the little dotted lines and you have to hold it there til the dots turn red all the way around.

No good still don't work but doesn't bother me that much. Bsydz bravo man!! this thing is silky smooth!! no lag whatsoever, snappy fast, touch response excellent. No problems whatsoever with video playing, you tube etc...game play is excellent as well. Thank You for all your hard work!! Bravo!! almost forgot no missing letters or crazy looking stuff in messages or texts either
