I use wifi tether for when I want to play games online, right? So I wanted to figure out how I could connect to my xbox over a wired connection (save $50 for the wireless adapter, on top of the $15 a month tether savings!
). All I had to do was bridge my wireless and wired adapters on windows after tethering via wifi, and it transformed my wireless router into a repeated of the wifi tethered signal!
It works perfectly! I don't know why this happens, since my wireless is actually set up to repeat my basement's router's signal, but when I bridge the two adapters on my desktop, it does this. This is my experience, haven't tried any other configurations, but it may work for you if you're interested!
