trading a galaxy s3

Has anyone traded in a galaxy s3 for a galaxy s4 with verizon, and if so, what did they give for the s3? Thinking about trading to get the s4.

Blimey, what a rip off.

I just sold my old S2 to O2 Recycle (O2 is one of the big UK network providers) for the UK equivalent of $155 so $130 for an S3 is very poor value.

The only thing I would say is selling phones on eBay attracts fraudsters in vast numbers so be careful. I gave up using eBay to sell phones for this reason. There are a lot of companies that pay decent money for second hand phones in the UK and are perfectly respectable but I have no idea whether equivalent companies exist in the US.

Its pretty safe to say you should never sell a device to a carrier.

You'll always get more money from eBay /Craigslist

I traded in my S3 a few weeks ago to BestBuy online for $325.
