I saw that. Multimedia phones require the $9.99 data package minimum. Smartphones, like the Incredible, require the $29.99 unlimited data package or higher.

this has been if effect for awhile, suspiciously right after they were questioned about thier unusually high termination fee for a smart phone which they claimed was necessary and later had to readjust because they couldnt justify. now they tack on the needed 29.99 media plan and voila, they come out ahead. just my view on things and not necessarily correct but does seem logical.

you can drop the 9.99 after you activate the phone... but you will incur data charges... couple bucks, etc... even if not using the net... not sure what it is using data for but it does...

(I am a Russian, and I still need translation ... Russian ---> Russian) :D:D:D

Best Buy doesn't even have the Incredible on their website but they have the EVO on page one of their Mobile Device Page and that isn't due for at least 2 months. Jerks.

I agree. Much more hype before the Droid came out and the day of the release I walked into a Best Buy around 1pm and walked out with one. I dont imagine it will be worse with this phone. It hasnt been promoted like the Droid and only went viral based from the activity on message boards.

Why is everyone so freaked out about pre-order info? Ordering it at 12:01am on the 18th or 19th does not mean getting it any sooner. They are not going to run out. Go buy it in the store when it comes out, or buy it online by early afternoon on the 28th. Nobody knows about this phone. Even when the Droid came out, with all that hype, they didn't sell out, geez, there wasn't even a line that day... in busy MA location anyways.

Make sure that you're the Primary Number on the account or you won't be able to access the other numbers on My Verizon. That was the problem I ran into.

I'm not the primary number and I can see all the lines on my account. I always log in with my phone number, btw.

I doubt as many Incredibles will be readily available as Moto Droids were. That was motorola and VZW's lead-off man, now the number four hitter is coming to the plate :D Spring training is over boys!

That's because your looking on BB's regular site and not BBM! It's there on the first page :)

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but honestly, is it worth the trip to BB this morning to preorder it or do you think its easier to just preorder through vzw so I can have it shipped to me?

If you want the phone in hand when you pay for it go to best buy. You'll have to wait for your rebate by snail mail. If you order online you'll get an instant rebate but someone will have to be home to sign for the phone upon delivery. I've ordered phones through CSR's over the phone and have gotten the online price matched. I believe that if you order the phone through a CSR on the phone you can also have it billed to your account instead of paying for it upfront like at the brick and mortars. Not sure if online ordering offers the "bill my account" options tho.

EDIT: sorry I misread your post you were talking about "pre-ordering"
