i'm not understanding the best buy gift card thing.

Where does it say I'll get a $50 gift card for pre-ordering the incredible?

I'd be interested in paying in gift cards anyway since I have a grocery store that sells bB gift cards and gives 20cts off 30 gallons of gas for every 50 bucks you spend.

so 200 in gift cards = 80 cts *30 gallons 24 bucks cash back. Not to mention 3% grocery purchases from my credit card =6 bucks more back. woohoo

Ok, so what if you already have gift cards from Best Buy. I have over $300 in gift cards at Best Buy, so does that mean I can't use those to pre-order the phone if I went there today?
 
One other thing. I call the internet sales for VZW and they said that you will get the instant rebate of $100 so it will be $199.

If you have a NE2 credit that will also apply to the phone and you can bill the rest to your account.

Which means, phone will only be $99 for me. W00T!!!!!!
 
Page 800. Are we gonna get to 1000? I'm gonna try to refrain from the *huge* desire to run out and sign up for one of these incredible phones. I've decided to wait for the first reviews and bug reports. I really really don't want to get stuck with a phone that doesn't actually work well as a phone, or that has hardware issues like the Nexus One's dust under the screen or display cracking or soft key misalignment, or shameful usability issues like the N1 space key/home button placement or side buttons that activate too easily when you're holding the phone.
 
So I was going to maybe go to BBY to preorder. Just for giggles I checked my phone with their upgrade checker to see what it would say.(I have been eligible since February with $100 NE2) It said that my ine is a corporate account (which it is, we got a "family plan"-5 lines) and that BBY doesn't upgrade corp accounts at this time.:eek: I guess I will be preordering on VZW tonight!

I will probably get it quicker anyway. Thursdays are the only day I have no flexibility to leave work. FedEx usually comes bright and early and I will be right there to sign for it! :D

That's why there's a 30 day eval period. I'd like to draw my own conclusions :D

I just ran the upgrade checker on BBM website and my phone is upgrade eligible. Going to BB in about an hour to lay down my pre-order.

umm no. bestbuy doesn't believe in MIR... everything is instantly for them.


i haven't gotten a MIR from BB in years...

meaning. if a product has a MIR price, bestbuy just gives u the rebate when u checkout... nothing to fill out, ship off, and wait for.
 
Wow - 800 pages... thanks for all the good information everyone. this forum has been way ahead of everyone else...even with 100 pages of NE2 questions...

If it wasn't for this site I would be post-30 days on a Moto Droid and really regretting it!
 
I pre ordered the inc. at bb yesterday and im not sure if they will honor my $100 ne2. I have still not received a definite answer regarding this.

Yeah I just checked their website also and I have a corporate account as well. So that means BB could not upgrade my line???? Thats weird. So I will be pre-ordering on Verizons site tonight then I guess. Is Verizon shipping the phones on the 29th or will we have them on the 29th??????
