There could be a few reasons why it's not working. If you are paying the $10 a month for the hotspot then I don't know what to tell you because I've never had that in my plan. If you are trying to hotspot for free then it could be the user agent your browser is using. If you can connect, try going to Youtube or Google. If those sites work but your browser wont go to other sites then it's your user agent. It's easy to use a user agent spoofer in Firefox or Chrome just install the plugin and change the profile the network sees from a desktop to a mobile device like an Android phone or even iPhone has worked. Then again it could be a Windows problem if you're not even connecting. And very nice speeds by the way
Ok, your bill is $60 a month. Is that $60 for the unlimited plan, or $50 for the 2.5gb plan + $10 for the hotspot, or is it some grandfathered plan I don't know about? As far as I know the unlimited plans aren't eligible for the hotspot. I have the $60 unlimited (grandfathered at $55) and I don't have hotspot included. I do have internet at home but I use my Motion to hotspot my tablet at work. I figure it's my data, I'm paying for it, and if I didn't use my tablet I would still be doing the same activities on my phone so I'm not using anymore data than I would use without hotspotting.
