Video review:Galaxy S3 "Synergy r420" Custom Rom 4.1.2 Multi-Carrier - YouTube

Probaly the only non in house supported aosp rom that i would use. this crew are the best in what they do. also i saw they released the floating keyboard mod on their rom which is cool not important but cool.

I didn't watch the video. lol so that's where all the misinformations coming from. haha

No the video made me believe it was TW then when i came here all the comments were saying that it was aosp, thats what confused me lol.
But yeah this is definately TW

This is also gonna have the messaging issue huh since we're using the 10.0.2 fix from jelly bean goodness rom. where it'll split mms to separate threads and not split long texts

I believe the 10.0.0.1 fix didnt have that problem. I might be wrong tho. try using that fix instead

ok so for the record this is a tw rom right?
im just confused cuz of the comments on this thread but i guess if it quacks like a duck looks like a duck, then its probably a duck

I flashed this rom last night and looks good, however I have the same issue. Would flashing the optional kernel have it up and running right?

You need to install metro fix to get 4G , install kernel for speed and over clocking. I provided the link in my original post.

I did install the metro fix and still no network. It would go back and forth as described like Johnny Crapple's note. Are we doing something wrong? After flashing the rom, I went back to CWM and flashed the fix, then rebooted. I flashed them back to back..when that didn't work, I flashed one at a time..still nothing. Tried to make a call and nothing.

You need to flash all three at the same time before reboot. do wipe and Dalvik cache one more time and fix permission.

ROM
Metro fix
Kernel

I tried it, same result. I must be doing something wrong.
This is what I am doing:
Recovery-wipe data/factory reset-wipe cache-wipe Dalvik cache
Install from zip from sd card (rom), installer runs, I choose the metro pcs install and the recommended rom install (not the minimal or bloated)...after it installs, exit the installer and back to recovery
Install Metro fix
wipe cache & Dalvik cache
fix permissions
Reboot

I asked earlier in a previous post if installing the kernel was necessary and I assumed not since you mentioned it was for speed and overclocking.

Should I install the kernel? Did I do something wrong in the steps that I described?

Thanks for your help.
