Root [Boost Mobile] Upgrade or not?

Well I managed to Kill my phone yesterday while pressure washing a deck (by kill I mean touchscreen won't work any longer)

SO I'm back to my prevail for the moment if anyone had one and rooted it on a linux box help me out ----> http://androidforums.com/galaxy-pre...ke-prevail-i-cant-root-linux.html#post5845331

that being said I am a cheap bastard and don't want to get the latest greatest piece of dumbed down piece of plastic over 200 bucks...

does anyone have or know someone that has a ZTE Force? I know the screen is smaller but since I live near DC I should be able to get 4glte service (I think it offers it instead of the wiimax)

Sorry to hear that! I, too, am cheap - er... uh, frugal when it comes to unnecessary spending, so I appreciate your viewpoint lol

You might want to ask Tigatron. I think he knew someone selling a Force on the cheap. Hopefully it's still available. *crosses fingers*

I'm a cheap sob too but Boost is getting the S3 next month and if I can swing it I'm thinking it might be my new phone.

Sorry that Force is sold. If I had the money I would have got it.

From what I hear the Force is locked down tight & the normal Jedi Dev tricks are not cutting it.

I'll deal with my backup prevail till the end of the month then I'll make a choice...if anyone is in need of a clean warp (minus the fact that the touch don't work) I'll send it out...
