Battery:
While not absolutely scientific, any battery concerns we had for a CDMA handset powered by a 1GHz processor were quickly alleviated after spending some time with the phone. We got through the day with some heavy emailing, web browsing, and light phone calling with pretty much no issue, but obviously your usage patterns will yield different results.

does anyone think the verizon nexus one will still come out? i mean now that the incredible is out, who would even think of buying the nexus one... The incredible beats it in every way. They would probably lose money by releasing it now.

A data plan and internet access are two different things. Smartphones have a much higher data transfer usage that just browsing the internet on a dumbphone. That's why they require every smartphone to have a data package.

If you guys are out of contract and I would advise you buy the Incredible on a 1 year contract for 229.00 that's what is currently showing only for one year contracts.

I am also being charged 8.99 for Overnight Shipping. I am sure if it doesn't get automatically credited I can contact Verizon CS and have it credited :) Its 9:20 and I can go to sleep and have sweet sweet dreams about me and DINC (my nickname for the Droid Incredible)
 
I've been month to month for 2 whole years on a family plan waiting for VZ to get a smartphone I actually wanted. The Incredible looks to finally answer my wishes!

Has anyone ever had any luck getting a discount for an additional line on a family plan? I'd much rather get this phone for $99 or $149. Do I have any "leverage" because of signing a 2 year plan for the first time in 4 years and because I'll be adding another data plan to the contract?

im out of contract, but i get the $50 NE2 so its only $149 then and since i get a 22% off corp discount every month, i dont think im going to be switching to any other carrier..... so 2 years it is for me......
 
My first post and only to say thank you!!! Order confirmed, free shipping and all (thank you for the code)!! I have been researching phones for months while waiting for my AT&T contract to expire. Had my heart set on the X10 but the (real, not hype-only) reviews had been consistently negative where the screen was concerned. I am glad I was forced to wait with the X10 taking so long to land here. SO cannot wait for my INC!!!
