is there a rooting method for this software version i tried using the guide posted here and i was able to reset my phone but i got an error saying are you rooted and my android never updated or anything now when i try to do it again it says "if successful i will tell you if not this will run forever" and it stays there any help i have no experience with rooting so i don't know what action to take from here if any one could help me that be great.

Yes that method you were trying to use is if your using 10e but you are using 20d currently I don't know anyway on how to root 20d besides downgrading back to 10g root and then go back to 20d
