Not sure if this pertains to anyone here. But my NE2 is set for 4/27. When I went to pre-order it was listing the full price. So I called verizon and explained to them the problem. She changed my eligibility to today's date without any problems. Now I have it "on the way"

The wait for 4/29 is going to be an eternity!!
 
Got my preorder in this morning. Having it shipped to my work address so I don't have to take the day off to wait for delivery. Now I'll just waste the day at work playing with it when it arrives.
 
Also,

I know that on the Nexus One you log in to the phone with your Gmail account...
I'm assuming that's not how it works on the Incredible?
 
Gosh - I can't wait! The only thing that is bugging me is the low battery life, but as long as it lasts almost a full day, I'll be alright.

Question: A class 2 microSD card from Sandisk is the type of card that would work with this phone, yes? I'm going to get the 16 GB card, so this phone can replace my decrepit mp3 player.

i didn't even get a confirmation email, but i called and checked and my order went through. i would think so though, surely.

I don't understand. Is there something special about your account that would prevent you from getting the discount?

Either way, you can always price the phone without actually pricing it. Just go through the process and see what you get. If you don't like it, cancel.

I got every discount I was owed, including the NE2 and extra $100 instantly.

Then you just cancel the pre-order and get one at the store. The sales rep at the store will have no problem doing this for you. As long as you buy a case :D

I did it because of the free activation today. Apparently if you don't preorder today or if you go to the store it is supposed to cost like $35 to activate the Incredible.

Yea, a class 2 will work but it might have slow down from time to time. I wouldnt know from experience since I've always used class 4s. You can get a class 6 16gb microsd on ebay for right at $40 with shipping, which is a great deal.

I would at least try for a class 4 to be on the safe side.

That is exactly what I plan to do IF it does come out early. I have had phones be out of stock too many times for me to NOT pre-order this. I have never followed a phone so closely for so long. If they have plenty to go around, great! But if not, I'm covered.

They have always waived that for me. I don't know if it was part of the VIP thing or what.
