Help Android systems at 75% in battery stat?!?!

I have a question for everyone, when I look at the battery stat on my phone it shows android system at 70-75% what is all under android systems? Every other app I have is under 10%

It can go even to 90% if nothing else uses battery. That is obvious, so unless you show us a screenshot of battery use, this means nothing.

Sorry I forgot the screen shot. Ok so these screen shots are from this morning after the phone set idle from 12am to 12pm

So what did you expect to use the battery apart from the OS if you were not doing anything with the phone?

The stock battery stats is pretty useless.

Its showing you what apps/processes/ect used what % of battery lost during that time

If you phone is sitting idle, things that normally aren't taking much battery are going to have very high percentages. Use the phone for half an hour or so and system will go from 75% to like 5-10%

My point being the percentages don't REALLY mean anything. They're all relative.

If you would like to monitor your battery stats more closely I'd suggest betterbatterystats

Thanks. I mean I get really good battery life. On average like 17 hours so I'm doing good but with the system so high I just wanted to make sure something wasnt running that wasn't supposed to be.

It could be, but you really aren't able to tell from the stock app.

Gsam battery monitor is another good one if you don't want to pay for betterbatterystats

Thanks I've installed gsam battery app and I'll see what it says when I let the phone sit once its fully charged and idle for an hour or two.

Why exactly do you measure it at idle? What else is running apart from the OS when it is idle?
