Help Multiple Down Arrows At Any Given Time

Greetings All,

At any given time I will have anywhere from four to eight down arrows, even when not using the phone. I.e., intentionally generating I/O.

My best guess is that something is downloading but I've no clue what.

What are these arrows for and why the changing quantity of same?

Have you tried downloading anything and possibly failed?

Can you pull down the status bar, tap on what's downloading and cancel it through the download manager?

Thanks for the quick reply. Interestingly enough, when I went into notifications by swiping down the top bar, I was able to clear those arrows. Apparently those were downloads going back to 29-MAY-13.

I also noticed that while in that notification screen it said that "YouTube Updating", so I wonder if those arrows are also appearing due to other updates in progress?

I believe those arrows may also appear when apps are updating (provided you have it set to automatically update apps)

I do have it set to automatically update apps.
