Galaxy s3 to hit boost 6/12/13

I am going to wait until it comes down in price. Buying the S3 from my S2 would not be a jump as big as coming from the Prevail to the S2 was. I need a bigger jump to convince me to spend 400 plus on it.
 
I won't be updating any time soon. A $400 phone should last more then a year (ie the S2) plus i have descent WiMax in my area but spotty LTE. I wish they would stop dumping their older hardware on us. No reason they can't shift the same hardware to us the they have for their post-paid customer base. You would think they make the same amount of money off both... Yes we pay a little less for the service but the service is not as good (ie no roaming, slow data speeds compared to Sprint and data throttling after a certain usage), there is almost no customer service and we pay considerably more for our phones...
 
radio shack shot me an email yesterday saying its in stock now (online). edit -- says in store now - but I think they jumped the gun.. as stated else ware by other members - I would be excited if it were a bigger jump in hardware.. I feel like after getting it, setting it up & looking at how shiny it is I'd then be bored with it.. (Biggest reason being I have no Wimax or lte anywhere near me anyway)..
 
Metro PCS has LTE in my area. If that is even LTE. Sprint doesn't have LTE anywhere near me for at least 100 miles. Same with Verizon etc. No LTE. Wimax is everywhere though and really really strong in my area. So I'll wait on the S3. Plus the S2 is still a great phone and I want my money's worth out of it:)
 
I will wait. The S2 has been great to me so far. If by Christmas they have it around $250-$275, I then might consider it as my own Christmas present.
 
No effing way at 400+ there isn't enough difference to take the plunge. Will certainly wait for a price drop also.
 
Earlier in the week I said I would get one and give my wife my two but I couldn't bear to watch her struggle with her crappy phone anymore so today I dropped $260 on a gs2 for her. There was a 3 there but the salesman said it was a display only phone lol. He told me it was gonna be $400 I said "I'm cool" lol
 
i purchased mine this morning. MMmmmmm lte is sweet learning the ins and outs. the phones natural behavior before i root and operate.
 
Boost has the s3 so what cricket has the dam s4 to late boost I want the s4 I am thinking about going to cricket boost should have much better phones than cricket cricket has had the s3 for a while and now they have the s4 wtf boost

you're kidding me.... cricket has the S4.. hmmm... I would drop my hard earned cash on an S4 in a second........... come on boost, really.. all sprint's postpaid's aren't going to drop Sprint if you give us (your bastard ((but smart)) stepchildren) the S4 - I promise ;)
 
read up on cricket service before you dive in this area it drops to many calls that one reason i didnt go with it also at times i move around alot. two places are awful for cricket but boost and virgin mobile works good

Agreed, having a new phone (even the S4) is no fun with crap service..
 
Cricket uses sprint towers and they have there own. They used to suck I know they will work everywhere boost does. Now don't get me wrong I have been with boost for like 4 yr but if they can't come on with the phones then what can u do. Then for 65 a month u get 10 GB of data a month you can run a PlayStation or Xbox off of that on lte boost better boost it up
 
I will jump on the GS3 even though I have the GS2 for a few reasons. One the GS2 will get 4.2 but that's it. As the days go by more and more devs are not developing for the S2. There is more development for the GS3 and GS4. So more roms foe the GS3 and Samsung will continue after 4.2 for the GS3. The GS2 is almost at the end of it's life so that made my decision to get the GS3. Besides I want a bigger screen.
