Root Help.... Boot loop/: no custom bootloader. Kyocera rise/:

Lurker
I recently rooted my kyocera rise and tried downloading fonts. Like a dummy I check marked all the boxes for replacing fonts and then got stuck in a boot loop I don't have a custom recovery bootloader thingy so I can't just flash new rom and when I connect my phone to the computer it doesn't reconize it. I heard that there's a script that can be used to have the computer recoongize the phone but I'm not sure what that would be.

If someone could be of assistantace that would be of great help. I'm moving soon across states and I kinda need the phone in case I get into any trouble along the way.

Someone anyone ease try and help me. /:

So far as I know, since we couldn't get past the recovery issue and couldn't flash a new recovery or anything, you may have to try toget a warranty repair. This phone's pretty hardcore locked down

The stock rom has odex files for the apks. Because of this the fonts and status icons cannot be changed. The bootloop you are having can only be repaired by booting into boot recovery and doing a factory reset.
If that does not work, sorry you know have a paper weight. VM may not change it since the custom boot shows root has been done and it voids warranty.

So basically, I was able to get passed the bootloop and unbrick my phone. After clearing the /data and /cache folders thorugh the "recovery", it would reboot straight into the launcher. However, any system files you had updated will no longer work. This is especially bad if you have updated the Play store on the /system partition. If you updated any other system APKs that your launcher depends on, you may have bricked your device. If you did what I did and updated the GAPPS, you'll need to sideload a copy of superuser and a file manager that can modify the system folder. The machine has rendered all updated system apps useless and they'll need to be removed and replaced.

I found the bootloop is caused by font problems that prevent the lock screen from loading, and rebooting every time it tries to load. After running a font-restore on the app called "Font Installer", it had an effect on all systemui.apk causing parts of the notifications and settings UIs not to show text. Every other app is fine however. Is there a way I can fix systemui?

So I'm guessing taking replacing the stock 1.000VM systemUI and replacing it with the 1.004VM model available won't only fix the problem, but it might make systemUI completely unusable?
