The S2 really is a great phone. Is there even any extra functionality when upgrading to the S3 or S4? I live in a rural area and the closest 4g area is STL and it has wimax only at the moment.(boost/sprint) So, in my region, at the moment, it would be a downgrade in connectivity. The only benefit I can see would the bigger screen size and higher dpi. Seems a waste of money to me.
Bingo. My S2 has every single "quirk" that it can and i would love to get something else but anything else is a step down. I can't imagine how long it will take (if ever) for LTE will be widely available in nearly all markets. I do have WiMax in my home area. So for me, going to an LTE phone means i would be downgrading to 3g only... In fact, in the center of my hometown, you can't even get a 3g connection but the Clear antennas are on buildings...so perfect 4g...and it is a small town. :dontknow:...
