Root How do i move apps to the sd card?

Yeah I'm using the spirit

I'm looking at the link to see how to do it, and it seems kinda confusing with that Partition stuff... How come it seems like your the only one that knows you can do this too cuz everyone else says you cant. You should make a tutorial video on how to do this, Im sure ppl would appreciate that!

The instructions seem easy, but that's because I'm used to partitioning. I can understand why you would find them confusing.

To setup your partition you need to use MiniTool Partition Wizard home addition. Make a second partition on your sd in Fat32 format. This basically splits your sd in 2.

Here are a bunch of tutorials for setting up partition with this tool. Once the partition is setup, install the links app and follow on screen instructions...

SO you actually use the app2sd thing too then? im not rooted but I can do that without an issue, but the only reason I would is to move apps to sd. I dont know if you seen my other thread I just posted about dragging an app directly to sd from internal, if that would work too?

No I don't use any of this. I'm not a gamer so the space the phone comes with is more than enough for me.

This method was confirmed by other users a couple months ago, but I'll never find those threads.

I saw your other post and no it's not possible. The apps install to internal with all their dependencies and data. A simple drag and drop will just break them.

So your left with 2 options... Give this method a try or make due with the phone's available memory.

If your afraid of screwing up your sd card then experiment with a cheap one you may have lying around.

Sorry dude, not much else I can say. lol ;)

Fa sho. yea Ill guess ill just probs leave it as is cuz Im not trying to **** up anything. Sucks too cuz only game I hav is NFS and it's 2g's alone haha. Whackk

If you root get foldetmount the free version will let you set up 3 directories. It copies obb data to your sd card and tricks your phone into thinking its still in your internal storage. I use it and it works.

If you are rooted download foldermount
Since you've found the solution to a big issue on this phone, I think you should start a thread of your own on this in the root section.

Include a proper title, description, link, and maybe some screen shots. Many would greatly appreciate this.

Good job bud ;)

edit: just noticed this was my 1000th post. lol

Actually I just found a thread with a free app and instructions on xda. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262 Should I just make a thread with this link.
That looks like a good find and promising app. I would only make a thread for it if I tried it first to confirm that it works. If you have your phone setup how you like and don't want to try it, then leaving the link here as is would be fine.

At least we'll know where to point users that need this, thanks to your findings there's 2 options now.

edit: never mind just saw the new thread
