Oh, it's not done yet? Well listening to you, it's got every phone ever made, and yet to be made beat already. I'm sure there are forums like this one for iPhones. Why don't you just go there and argue with them about how great the Incredible is?

Is a Class 10 microSD card really going to perform that much better in this phone than a Class 6 card or would that just be wasted goods?

just keep trying and try to write really nice emails to verizon... i just got mine moved up to today from 8/11/10. one guy in the store denied me but the lady over email called me today and said her supervisor said yes

I did not use the code. My email confirmation only said free shipping. I called and talked to a CSR from Internet Sales and was told all shipping was overnight.

I basically said that I had been a longtime Verizon customer, and that although my name was never on the account as the owner, I have always been a line for the last 8 or so years. I also added that I was going from a smart phone from a dumb one, thus making it clear that they would get another $30 a month. The first time was in an email, and the second was on the phone. I am hoping no one marked my account to not get it in the notes section, as that would be annoying. However, all said and done, the $100 is not a big deal. Sure, it is a nice chunck of cash, but I am dying from not having a smartphone for business use. So I will pay either way. But don't tell the VZW reps about that. :p

As for the battery post, not yet. Sorry, but I am busy. I will aim to have it out ASAP, with the absolute latest date being when everyone gets their Incredible on the 29th. I am busy, but am sure I can find the time so that you can start off correctly with your Incredible. :)

Haha I didnt read that part. I read that it was possibly ceramic or glass on Engadget

But regardless whether its plastic or glass ( Ceramic would have been really nice ) the back is smooth and not protruding. If or when I get the Incredible, how am I supposed to put the phone down? I cant lay it on its back cause the camera is sticking out and I dont want to scratch the lens. I really dont want to face it down cause the plastic edges will start to see wear.

keep in mind, how long you've been a Verizon customer is also taken into account.

If you've only had the account 1-2 years the odds of success go down :(

in other news when I click "upgrade" on the VZW site it tells me "that function is reserved for the primary account holder..."

sigh... Its a single line account and I've been the account holder for the past 5 years :(

I have never been able to get Verizon to leave any packages on the door step even with the signed slip. I have always had to have it shipped to work. That's why Best Buy pre-order worked for me. I can swing in and pick it up on my way into work.

I got mine moved up because I have had so many issues with my Storm2 so they CSR let me move it up to today. I would never lie.

I know you are not aTroll and please do not take any offense to this but, good god man you must be the pickiest individual ever! It's a phone not a wife, your fear of commitment can be lessened by the fact that there is a return policy on this bad boy! You are looking waaayy to close at the trivial things and that is never ever good. Pick one and move on either way you won't be truly happy because it's clear that you need more.

Sorry, Nkk, I was just reiterating what you were saying. That I would like to hear what people are saying that it has worked for. Thanks though. :o

Also, thanks for typing something up on the best way to get the most out of your battery. I just want to make sure I charge/drain it correctly in the first few days to get the best results.

I do it everytime i order anything from verizon . clips cases and phones. You just leave a note for the fedex driver telling them what the tracking number is, your signature and where to leave it and when u get home (as long as no one steals it) its waiting for you where you want it to be

I agree with that! I am super picky too, but if for some reason I end up not liking the Incred I can just go ahead and return it. No issue there.

I actually think this is a perfect design, so when you buy your protective cover, the camera will end up being flush with it.
