i have some advice... ask in places you wont get in trouble for it
What is the relevance of his question vs trouble? I ask due to lack of knowledge pertaining to this matter..

relevance vs trouble is that there is no way to mess up the meid or esn without doing something that would brick your phone or knowing what youre doing in the first place so there is no legitimate reason to be trying to restore it to what it is supposed to be and changing it is technically a federal offence so most forums dont let you talk about it. it doesnt really matter if you agree with the laws or whether they even make sense, its still illegal
