Whichever tower your phone is getting the signal fromOk GM I got one for you.
I've been curious about this. At first glance it's a stupid question but not the more *I* think about it it isn't.
Does Open Signal on your phone show just Metro towers or does it show All Towers which may or may not be on your same network?

I used OpenSignal.
(And only 1 T-Mo tower so that ain't it.)All the coverage data is user inputted but then its pretty accurate in the tower findingAt least for Metro in my area, their website info is totally bogus.
First it shows just a small amount of coverage (3-4G) and none over a Wide area I KNOW has a very decent signal. Better yet, it somehow magically manages to discover some way for there to be the Metro coverage they DO show where they Also show NO Metro Towers AT ALL.(And only 1 T-Mo tower so that ain't it.)
Completely wrong info all the way around on the website for this area/Metro.

Probably not that many metro people mapping itIt's still weird I think their website shows basically No Metro coverage (when the whole city has some to decent coverage) and no one single tower.
Sounds screwed up to me.

This morning and yesterday there has been like 20 people in South Florida saying it popped up without forcing it. 1 kept it for like 45 mins driving north from Miami on the 95They got it on now? or still testing phase?
ok still could be in testing, from my understanding, in other markets first few days it had to be forced but after that it did not but it was in phase 2 testing or something, simulated load on the towers and such. This morning and yesterday there has been like 20 people in South Florida saying it popped up without forcing it. 1 kept it for like 45 mins driving north from Miami on the 95
When they do let us on tmobile LTE they'll just broadcast both the tmobile and metro MCC - MNC tmo users get tower access through 310-260 and then we get through with 311-660 simple as that no PRL update requirednah the prl files are only to tell our phones which tower its allowed to connect to. here in tampa and south florida they boosted spectrum by from 3mhz to 5mhz and that allowed more speeds now when in florida they finally release lte coverage from t-mobile's towers they will most likely release a new prl to allow metro's lte phone to have lte coverage from such towers but thats about it. we will all need to get the new gsm phones when it comes to florida to gain Lte/hspa and whatever else comes with the package.
GM (or anyone who knows),
What's with the "burp" in the middle. I get that too. Really decent speeds then BAM a crappy one or two?
Why does it do that?
