Yup and according to the thread google is doing it on purpose too. Because ISP people are crying about the bandwidth it's taking up. Them bastards. lol

On the second page they made a zip. I'm going to flash it on my note 10.1 and see how it goes. If it's good i'll try my phone next. :D
 
interesting.. I personally haven't built an s3 kernel yet so not sure how soon I could do it.. but im sure it'll happen :D whether from me or someone else..

lol one of the names on the thread title hasn't been seen since the dark ages. anyways i remember shabby sending me something like this but dont remember if it was for my pc or phone.

I think he's been busy with his new job but still checks in once in a while.
 
indeed n4zty i was gunna include it in 1.0.5. however i found out it is literally blocking your device from accessing the servers that MANY companies use to "cache" data to you. as such you end up sometime getting yt to load faster, sometimes it doesnt. then sometimes it blocks entire google services. or amazon.com.

i know because i tested it for a month and i am SO glad i did. it was completely random and worked for youtube.. but in terrible ways that it had side effects.

yeah I have that youtube install and i like it very much. It forces hd everytime but the problem still remains with buffering. It's only with youtube I also use viki, dailymotion, and dramafever apps so I know it's not the connection. Every other apps play hd flawlessly. :(
