Hi
Firstly, I would switch off your Data so you are not accidently using up valuable data allowance

To do this you can just swipe down from the top to get the row of buttons. Swipe them across to the left until you see Data; tap it so that it is NOT lit. Then your data is off.

To monitor what is using data, go to Settings (Cog symbol, or tap area left of the bottom button)

Once in Settings, 3rd option down is Data usage. Tap on there. You'll see a tick box next to Mobile Data - wthout a tick means your Data is off. Below this is a graph showing how much you've used of your data allowance. Then, scoll down and you will see what has used, and how much used, data. The top of the list is the highest usage.

Hope this help you

Furthermore, if you have set-up your free 50 GB Dropbox account make sure that you enable automatic uploads over WiFi only. Uploading pictures taken with the phone over a mobile data connection will use quite a lot of data if you like to take lots of pictures.

Open the Dropbox app then tap the Mene button > Settings and set the "Upload using" field to WiFi only.

Thanks, looks like it was dropbox causing it, is it possible to remove dropbox from my phone?

Yeah you just uninstall it. Also, i suggest 3g watchdog. Its a musthave app for me. Very useful. Samsung does have one in settings, but it seems so much harder.

I managed to delete some apps recently, having searched for 'how to uninstall apps Samsung Galaxy S3'
I think this was the site that helped me do it.

How to uninstall apps on my Samsung Galaxy S III

I remember needing to tap and hold on the icon to get a delete option, I think. So, give this a go. If that doesn't help, do a search as I've just mentioned, or similar, and see if you can manage it.

Failing that, someone will probably post tomorrow with some help. I'm afraid I'm really far to tired to work it out just now. I desperatly need some sleep.

If dropbox isnt uninstallable (it probably isnt but i cant remember) you can just remove the dropbox account from Settings, Accounts. Or disable the dropbox app in Settings, Applications, ALL, Dropbox

No, Dropbox is none removable. However, you can stop it uploading over 3G as mentioned earlier and have your uploads done over 3G only. Or, if you have no intention of using it at all you can open the Dropbox settings and turn off camera uploads all together.
