Root Instagram Video Issues

So I noticed when I hold the record button(Not using Front facing) on instagram video it doesn't record. Just keeps going back to 0 seconds even after holding it for 15 seconds.

Anyone have these issues?

The video part of instagram isnt supported on ics devices just on jellybean.
