Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Unable to make backup in TWRP :(

Hey guys, I've been wanting to try some new roms on my phone but I can't because when I go to TWRP to make a backup it fails. The message is something like "splitting tarr files"? Something of that nature. I did some research and one guy had the same problem and solved it by deleting a certain file from an app. I believe it was a messaging app. However I couldn't find that file cuz I never installed that app. Another thing I will mention but I dont know if it relates to my back up problem is that i have a lost+found folder and a lost+found0 folder. They boy have a folder inside that has infinite folders inside. I tried deleting those folders but the file managers crash and they don't get deleted. Any help is greatly appreciated!! :D:confused::)

Yeah i remember someone else had this problem because he installed textplus gold. He deleted its folder in the data/data directory and it worked for him.

If you haven't installed that specific app I'm thinking it could be another app that's causing it. Time to start moving each one, one by one to see which one is the problem. I would start with all the no name apps first.

Yea I never installed that app. I also thought about your idea but I noticed I haven't really installed any new apps in a while. Usually I flash a new rom and the playstore downloads all my apps I had before. But I guess I have no choice :(

Will report back which app ends up being the bad guy incase this problem arises again. Thanks again!
