I have a couple of Gmail Pro accounts [the kind that have an annual fee and use my domain names]. They are obviously GMail accounts, but are not on the gmail.com domain.

Are these Gmail accounts still good for android setup/sync etc?

Yes, they are. BUT, the one big problem I've found so far is that Google Voice will NOT work with Google Apps. I almost never use my Gmail account, but it's the one with my GV account. To kludge this all together, it looks like I'm going to have to set up my Google Apps account, my Gmail account, and come up with a way to sync the address books.

I wish they would let me transfer my GV account to my Apps domain. That would solve all my problems.

Edit: Just for more clarification, I can't preorder. The supervisor that called me back told me that I had to call customer service and order it on the 29th. I did get back in touch with them and confirmed that there is a note on my account. So... I won't have it on the 29th but I don't have to wait until July. I'll probably just pay for overnight shipping.

my ne2 isn't until june of 2011 but i was able to get my annual upgrade for 199 online without talking to anyone. so that manager was not doing you a favor. just go online and it should let you buy it now for 199.
 
Tried to order mine for hours last night. Went round and round and finally gave up. Hopped on this morning and went through no problem. Its been a wild ride everyone!

Mine says the same. I wish it would just say 'awaiting phone availablility' instead of both. I chose 'bill my account', there is no reason for them to have to 'approve' me, I've been a good standing customer for 10+years but it still bugs me. I may call in a day or so to make sure they arent going to give me any problems..Has anyone else done 'bill me' and have you had any problems?? Will they contact you if they dont 'approve' of billing you?
 
Walked into my local VW store that I use last night (Midlothian, VA) and talked to a sales rep. Told her I was waiting on the Incredible, when would they have it in stock, and could they hold one for me to pick up on the 29th.
She told me to call her Monday (26th) and she could put one on hold for me to pick up Thursday morning .
I walked over and noticed the Droid had 2.1 updated, mentioned something about it, and she said, yes it's been updated but the Incredible was soooooooooooooo much faster.
Walked out really excited. :D
 
Does anyone know of an app that will let you change the hideous login screen? I love HTC sense, but the slide down bar was not an improvement over stock android...
