I chose 'bill my account', there is no reason for them to have to 'approve' me, I've been a good standing customer for 10+years but it still bugs me. I may call in a day or so to make sure they arent going to give me any problems..Has anyone else done 'bill me' and have you had any problems?? Will they contact you if they dont 'approve' of billing you?

There's an option online, to have the phone order billed to the account? I've always had to go into a store or call customer service when i've had something billed to the account. Where did you see that option?

How is everyone ordering thru CS? I just called to try (was just going to cancel order placed online) and was told that they can't order it until it's actually released.

here's a quick pic...phone is charging...will see what I can do with more pics...we actually had 4 delivered to employees in the same shipment - my pants are going crazy:)!

Hey all, I know that we need to have a data plan. but it texting inlcuded in that or do I need to keep a texting plan? ( I would bet that VZW will nickel and dime us )

Yes, absolutely.

I am using the free version of Google Apps for Domains with my domain.

However, you will also need a standard Google Account (which can use the same email address) for things like Google Checkout (for purchasing apps), Picasa, Google Reader, Google Voice and other things which are not part of Google Apps for Domains.

Texting is not included in the data plan- you'll need to keep a texting plan. And I wouldn't call that nickel and diming..giving away texting for free would be a terrible business decision.

You can use Doubletwist, but you don't need to.

When you connect your phone to your Mac, it will mount as a standard drive and you'll be able to do all standard file operations on it.

You can just make a folder called 'music' or 'Music' or whatever and copy folders containing MP3s into that folder just as you would with a USB thumb drive or external hard drive.

I copy pictures, videos and music to and from my Droid all the time using my Linux machine without any syncing software.

Apple has people trained to think that one must use software to sync anything to any type of phone. Even though I have a couple of Macs, the forced use of iTunes to deal with iPhones is one among many reasons I don't have one.

One thing I'm not sure about is if stock Android or Android with Sense can play Apple AAC audio files (with DRM or without). You may need to convert any files to MP3 first, but you'll have to do research on that.

He got lucky when he called in when pre-ordering started. This has since been shut down. Hopefully no CSRs lost their job over those ones that have been shipped and in hand before the street date.
