Hi everybody, I got a software update on my International/UK Note 2 yesterday and when I put it on to charge today it charges INCREDIBLY slowly like there's hardly any juice getting into it. Has anyone else in the UK had this happen? I have a pal with a Note 2 and have advised him not to install the update till I find out for sure.

Not had that on mine, it all works fine, in fact I thought my battery was lasting longer after the update.

A couple of times I've had mine plugged into the mains and it's said USB charging on the phone, which would be painfully slow.
Try reseating the usb cable at the plug and the phone.

I'm in the UK and have had no issues so far since the update.
It has started charging OK again now so I guess it must have been a temporary blip. Interesting what you said about USB charging as of course it is virtually impossible to charge it from my PC even using USB 3.0

Don't seem to gave received any update recently, although someone else I know who has a Note2 gas. Is it carrier specific ? Anything new ?

Try going to Settings > About Device > Software Update > Update
I didn't get any notifications about the update, so I checked using the above method when I saw people on here mention they'd received it and it worked.

Nothing major I don't think, just bug fixes and security updates IIRC.
