Help photo sphere on s3 help

im trying to do this:

Dalvik is in custom recovery (CMM, TWRP etc) do you have one of them installed?
Ill try using that guide when i get home. Ive been meaning to get photosphere again :thumbup:
Edit that guide is for touchwiz roms and im not on touchwiz.
Did you do the "fix permissions" part?

just installing clocwmod recovery and usimg rom manager to fix permissions (doing as i type) but there wss no option for that in recovery, im wondering if the file is good?

Dalvik cache is under Advanced settings in recovery :thumb:

i presume its still up power home to get into cmrec?

cos thats just taking me to stock ad far as i can see the root works its one ive used before maybe theres no recovery mod on this one?

I'm unsure why it hasn't installed, what S3 are you using?

Sorry thats me home. Yeah im pretty sure it was autoroot i used and it put CWM on my phone. Youre gona need that. As for Rom Manager, i dont know why but people dont recommend it for the s3

hmm i dont seem able to geg cmrec mod to flash/install, either via cf or rom manager ive done it before with these exect files, odin 3.04 dont think that need to be 3.07, v odd maybe last build did something to stop it?

i noticed cfautoroot said restoring stock recovery? on the screen with the red droid..

well it apesrs to work as i can tell no error messages odin says its pass

ive got a feeling its not rooting maybe i do need the new odin

Not sure man. I hate computers so after rooting quite a long time ago, ive done everything on the phone without a pc.
Run the Root Checker app :thumbup:

Yeah try it man but i doubt its that. Is the root file definately for JB and not ICS? (Not sure if theres a difference tbh)
Is Usb Debugging checked in developer options?

yeah itd jb 4.1.2 and debugging is selected and dev options on still no joy with odin 3.07

started this for root error,

that aside did you get photo sphere working?
