Root lg motion root lounge and discussion

Anyone can tell me if project butter is actually enabled on our phone? I know on the wildfire so found out later that it wasn't when I thought it was so just wondering

People are willing to help, but
1) it was 4am when you posted this, most of us are sleeping
2) you being whiny in 3 separate threads complaining that no one is helping you when you didn't actually ask for help, isn't gonna help you at all.
3) people can only help so much, for you to actually do anything you need to go through the threads and do some reading like everyone else here did. no one is going to hold your hand through everything, if you can't figure it out from everything that is posted here, you shouldn't be trying.

good luck...and honestly...the Motion cannot become a GSM phone..it does not take a SIM card...and if you do get the UICC slot to read a SIM then you won't have 4G at all...

so...yeah..good luck :)


Also, what's up guys...i will once again recommend the N4...which you can apparently use on Metro now too...this phone is awesome...and 4G LTE works fine on it...i just do not have 4G down in my neighborhood, but there is 4G in my city :) and by the end of next year i'll have 4G here because of the MPCS takeover
 
How is the LTE on the N4? I was told that it has the 4g modem but not an antenna resulting in bad reception in most areas. How does the 4g compare to the motion or spirit?
 
LTE works really well...you just do some quick hacks to fix some small issues... As for how it compares...its like night and day...my H+ is as fast as the 4G on the Motion..my 4G is as fast or faster than my home WiFi connection...

Got my new nexus 4 in the mail today and wow makes my motion look and feel 3rd rate. Now do I take it to metro in Aug when my area gets byod or do I sign up with tmo
 
I don't think T-mo has super fast LTE in my area yet. I'm getting 3-5M download speeds with metro, good enough for now. Personally I'll be waiting a few more months at least.
 
I'd anybody else noticing the rise in how many unfinished roms and ports there are for the motion. Is this a good or a bad thing?
 
I love options. Just wish that a few of the roms were actually complete besides the stock based ones. I'm in love with the paranoid port but hate that it has so many sound issues.

Well nothing can be done about that unless the base is perfect. Roms based on pg's build are complete enough to be used daily.

Definitely not couldn't if I tried was just asking a general question since we're coming towards the end of the motions life.

Trust me I know they have lives I've been following bobz n playful since the Huawei Ascend days.

yeah me too. god I hated that phone... took great joy in smashing it to bits when I got my motion.
