[INFO] 7/1/13 - 9/30/13 New metropcs information

Some of you have been itching to get a new phone and the time is now! well assuming you are a new metropcs customer, or you port your number out to a tracfone and then port it back in later :P

anyways to the good stuff:

LG Optimus M+: $25
HTC Wildfire: $25
ZTE Score M: $25
Huawei Ascend: $25
Samsung Admire: $25

anyone seeing the trend here? :P

the premia 4g, motion and avid 4g will jump back up to 150 bucks, with a 50 dollar if you are new rebate.

and the moment you all have been waiting for.... the lightray will have a $360 instant rebate if you are new!!!!!!!!!!! there is no better time than the present to go pick one up for 100 bucks :D.

anyone paying for teh metropcs hotspot will want to look things over, on 7/1/13 it will be reduced in price to just $5 a month. if you have it already pretty sure youll have to turn it off of you plan/account and then re-enable it to get teh new lower price.

also all these phones are 800 mhz and below lol im surprised they did not liquidate them alot sooner. my best pick would be the lg optimus
 
Only problem is that it really is NOT $25. I went in about a week ago to get the LG Motion at the advertised $25 price (not so fast), after dealer fees and taxes it is $117 and that's before any plan. Just an FYI.

lg motion is 29 on a promo and requires a month of service, it is far better than paying 150 plus a month of service...

that promo ends soon and the 25 dollar phones are going to be not rebates, instead it will be for old/new customers.

any of teh 25 dollar phones can be used on the $25 text and talk plan. afaik the 25 dollar phones will only be in store so a month of service may be required. so 25+40 will get you a new android phone and a month of service.

If that price doesn't include a month of service you need to go back to that store with the cops because you just got robbed.

Phone + month service + activation fee = out the door cost. That's how it works if you do it in store.

Who else thinks metro had a sales chart of the lightray @HQ just waiting for the moment they sold it to enough suckers to cover their losses and then cut the price?

Yesterday I went with a coworker to an authorized dealer so he could get the Premia. His cost was $95 which included the phone, his 1st month of service, and $24 case with a kickstand and screen protector. There was no activation fee I don't know if that's a Jersey thing or something else.

some dealers will waive the activation fee. if you're buddies with the dealer or they feel you've spent enough money on them already, they'll waive it.

I mostly now see Motions then Coolpads Admire 3G's and 4G's. I've only seen I think 2 people with Lightrays.

Funny thing is my friend from basketball had one like 3 weeks ago, he had a Motion before but when he was putting his stuff in is locker I saw a bigger phone than usual so I was like new phone, he's like yeah I got the TV one then he pulled out the antenna to show me with a big smile on his face I was just like cool even though inside I wanted to bust out laughing but then the next week he showed up with the Spirit he's like oh that phone was a piece of ishh.
