Using AT&T/Straighttalk sim on an android phone

I have noticed even on straighttalks site, Ebay and other sites there are very few android phones available for AT&T/Straighttalk. I have straighttalk which is using the AT&T as the carrier in my case.

My question is, do I need an Android phone set up for straighttalk, or can I use any AT&T Android phone for the Straighttalk service that uses AT&T towers?

On the Straighttalk site the have very few Android phones and NONE are above version 2.1 . I would like to use a version 4 or higher.

Any ideas?

I also like the HTC line of phones, but I am open to anything reliable and has features. Trying to get an Android APP that is available to watch my home CCTV cameras and yes my system has the Android, or Iphone APP's that use H.264.

Can anyone give me some advice on how I can use the sim from my Nokia E-5 and get an Android operation on my straighttalk/AT&T account?

Thanks

If you're using an AT&T compatible SIM from StraightTalk, any Android phone should work with it as long as it's either unlocked, or locked to AT&T.

The phone is a Nokia E5 and it is on the AT&T system. Problem is a couple of friends have AT&T Galaxy's and they appear to use a different sized sim. Is this a problem?

The sim can be cut down to fit the phone, or if the sim is smaller they have adapters to get the sim contacts in the correct place in the sim tray.:)

Check out amazon for sim cutter they are inexpensive and they generally come with a bunch of adapters.

or go to your local att store and see if they will cut it, or have adapters for a few bucks.
