To be fair, the only Samsung I owned before the Precedent was the Samsung SGH-x427, which i would love to find the "sounds of spring" ringtone and startup sounds for so I could use them for my GS3.

omg, i totally forgot my other phone although im sitting next to it, hah.. (well, actually the third one - second one, my other work phone, is ehm... somewhere

Does my Tab count as a second phone? It's the 3G version and sometimes I use it in the car as a speakerphone if my other phone is navigating. Big buttons on screen.

There are several ways and apps, but i chose to do it on this way:
1) let the wireless modem power on (the x5 is wifi connected)
2) made another google-account for the x5
3) made an account (didnt want to use my own) in dropbox
4) installed the app called mobilewebcam from google play
5) set it up an let it to take and send a pic in every 20min to dropbox

OK, I want to play. And break the Samsung hold and give some batwing love. Mind you two out of the five are not smartphones and only two out of the five are Android, so I hope I'm not getting too off topic, however, there's only one Sammy in the bunch, lol:
All are Verizon phones. Left to right:
Motorola V3m (the original razr) running Vivo firmware (screw that locked down VZW crap, unleash the best that Moto had to offer back then).
Motorola V9m (the razr II) running USCC firmware with a Telus upgrade to enable running Java apps, like the very early early releases of Gmaps and some games, etc.
The middle one was my first smartphone. The Motorola A4500 (Codenamed Napoleon, also known in some circles as the Q9n), running Windows Mobile 6.1 with the hack to unlock the internal GPS chip for third party apps like Google maps, Bing, etc, as well as being able to side load third party apps. More pics of that one later.
The Motorola A855 (the OG Droid). The one that really put Android on the map. Rooted and running Simply Stunning GB 2.3.7.
And last but not least, My Samsung SCH-I515 (Galaxy Nexus) running Sourcery 3.2, an Android 4.1.2 ROM.
What makes the one in the middle special? These:

The short version? My source, of course.
The long version? When I first learned to hack the razr, I got in with some folks at HoFo and hacktherazr.com who knew a couple of Moto Engineers. So I was able to buy a Napoleon and have access to all the files that would unlock all of it's potential.
These same folks let me know about the OG droid way before there was any pre-release thread anywhere; I think I first heard about it and had pics around 3/09. These are the same folks that had the leaked .sbf files for the A855, and had the know-how to remove the 'watermarks' so that they could be posted publicly without revealing who the Moto engineer that leaked them was. P3Droid was the face (or 'father of the leaks'), but it was the others that I already knew that gave him the leaks to begin with.
And then one engineer left Moto and went to Sammy and my source let me know when the Gnex would actually be released. Look deep into those pre-release threads here. I picked it, knew it (sorry Steven58). It really was kind of a bunch of cloak and dagger stuff. I was the man back in the day.
But now I'm not. I'm just a guide.
