Help group message notifications

does anyone know how or if its possible to get notified when your part of a group message. Iphone shows all the numbers associated with a group text but android does not. i have responded to a text only to find out through embarrassment that it was a group text.

Use a different message app. I use Facebook Messenger as my main SMS/MMS app. When a group message comes, it shows multiple pictures in the chathead.

Yes I have found that every 3rd party text app is buggy compared to the stock message app so I just stick with it.

I hate being part of group messages because they don't come in a single text where it's like a chat and it's easy to follow along. I get every reply as an individual text and a lot of the times there are people responding whom I have no idea who they are.

For OP, since you are on AT&T, you could try the AT&T Message app. I have never tried it myself, but I read that it does handle group messages. But I am really in love with Facebook Messenger after switching to it from Go SMS. It is very simple and not too many settings (unlike Go SMS) to mess with.

When you receive an MMS on Facebook Messenger, does it appear as a slideshow?
