How about a good browser? Since they have made copy/paste better in Sense, now I feel the only thing Android is lacking is a good browser. I am looking for one that always has back, forward, home, tabs, and bookmarks at the bottom (like Dolphin has after you push Menu). I love Opera Mini's UI, but it doesn't seem to display full html pages (shows the same mobile sites I get on my Dare). Is there a stupid simple solution like a checkbox for fullscreen browsing or displaying full html?

Once I can figure these things out, the Incredible will be the perfect phone for me.

The car-charger may be cheap but its my understanding that the phone and its internal circuitry controls the charge not the charger itself. So you should have no difficulties with this type to non-brand name charger, correct?

What he said. I've got a LG Dare currently and have 2 chargers (car and home). Can I use those with the Incredible??? Would be sweet if they do. I'm thinking they will as they're Micro USB.
 
For those who's status has changed from "order being processed check back in a few days", how long did it take?

I'm a bit concerned that I waited to long to pre-order, but I may just be over reacting.
 
We have heard all the good things that this phone will do execpt no one who has the phone has said anything about how it works as a phone! Can someone who has the phone let us know how the reception is and the clairity of calls? After all isn't that what a cell phone is used for.
 
I understand that the DInc has only Flash_Lite support. Can anyone comment on what that may imply going forward? Can we ever anticipate a full Flash ability? Which sites will be a persistent problem because of the Flash_Lite? Thanks!

Adobe has not yet finished Flash 10.1 for smartphones. It should be coming in 2010. Originally they were saying 1st half (before July), but not there's word it may be after July (2nd half).

This has worked well for me and my wife as we only have to buy a new tip when we get a new device. I have a microUSB for my Motorola Blue tooth ear piece, so I should be able to use it to charge my Incredible, when it finally gets here. I have a duel wall charger and a duel car charger. I may order an extra tip, just to have one!


EDIT: Plus they have lifetime warranty. We had a charger crack and they replaced it free of charge!

every review i have read about the phone says the call clarity is excellent

Dial #611 on your current verizon phone, press 4 for other options, then press 0 for the CSR. Once he or she gets on, tell them you want to order the Black w/ Red Gradient - VZW6300COVRDG Snap On cover.

I did it this morning and the cover is on it's way. Enjoy!

I think that is the message that the majority of us on here are getting when we check our status.... mine has said that since sunday night when i pre-ordered. I imagine the status will change early next week when they start prepping to ship out the phones....
 
Just FYI:

I placed an online pre-order Monday like most people. Yesterday the Credit Card I used for the pre-order was stolen. I canceled the card and quickly called Verizon to change card numbers because I didn't want to delay my shipment. The lady I talked to at first had trouble finding the order. She later found it and said she had to speak with someone that works with the internet orders because she couldn't change the card number on the order. So after being on hold for a while she came back and said that no one was able to update information on the pre-orders and I would just have to wait until I got a Credit Card declined notice via e-mail, I would then have to call them up and change the credit card number.

So if anyone wants to change cards, cancel their orders (yea right) or make any kind of changes, good luck! It seems that Verizon has locked down the Incredible pre-orders pretty tight. Just thought that this information may be useful to some.

I don't usually worry about this, that's why I am on Verizon.
