Stock vs Google?

Im haveing constant battles in my head over which are better on my S3, Samsungs stock calender/email/browser VS Chrome/Gmail/G Calender......I no its whatever I prefer but I honestly cant decide. I would like some factual Pros and cons please guys :)

Because of Gmail, which syncs with my computer Gmail, I've gone the Google way. Switched from firefox to Chrome and love my google calendar because it also syncs with my computer. But, of course, YMMV.

Gmail is best for gmail. But thats all it can be used for.

Google calendar app is basic. Sec calendar (s planner) supports Google calendars anyway and syncs them so Google calendar app is literally pointless.

Chrome is better than the stock browser. I use chrome on my Linux and windows computers so it makes sense to use android version and its really good....

....and I can't think of 1 website where I've needed flash. Who cares about that ancient crap anyway?

I prefer Googles software offerings to Samsungs.

Anything sammy tried to replace gets uninstalled on my devices

Stock Android has it's own email client too. GMail is just for GMail, as you can understand, and it does a great job. S Planner is very well integrated and has a lot of features, it also syncs with Google, why replace it with "Calendar", which has less features anyway? For what regards the browser, I prefer Dolphin, although I sporadically use the stock browser too.

I use Gmail, Chrome, and Samsung's stock calendar.

I never bothered to replace the calendar, Gmail works perfectly so I've never had to replace it, and I love Chrome. Some people have issues with it as far as scrolling lag/text resizing etc but it works flawlessly smooth on my phone. The ability to sync with your PC is just a bonus.

Oh, and for the record, Google Keyboard >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Stock Touchwiz Keyboard. By a long shot.

I think Samsung builds some incredible devices but I could do without their extra stuff including the stock touchwiz keyboard. Therefore I use all Google stuff including calendar and keyboard. I had my device rooted and flashed Liquid Smooth ROM to get rid of the Samsung apps and stuff. In the end it's really up to you and your taste
