Hey guys, I'll try and put everything together in one concise post here.

Price- Between $200 and @250. They have not decided anything for sure yet but it will be no more than that.

Availability- There are 2 dates i have heard thrown around. June 6th and the 13th. Best Buy will start to preorder in May so i am assuming the first date will be their's, the 6th. That leaves that date of the 13th to Sprint, exactly one month after their huge announcement in NY. Yepp ounds about right...

New Stuff- Yepp lots of it. It will ship with a modded version of 2.1. Nothing different about it, just modded to work with 4G. It will come jam packed with super cool apps, and it will be the second phone to get the froyo update after the Nexus does. Also lot more memory. Better tahn or equal to the incredible.

Cool Stuff- SP and i were having a conversation earlier about this. It will indeed have voice and data at the same time. That we can assure you of. It will also support VOIP. It will indeed be a third party dev, and it more than likely won;t be skype because they just signed an agreement with Verizon. So probably google talk, it'll work great, no worries =]

Accesories- This phone will not fall into the same case as did the NExus. Accessories will be out at or fairly close to the time of release. This is because the device has been known about to the public and manufacturers and they have been given an ample amount of time, and the rights to create STUFF. Good call on Sprint's part again about the later release date. That way your not buying a phone and have to wait months for stuff to come out for it.

4G- Sprint;s 4G service will be added around the country at a rapid pace through the next 2 years. Explain to me why they would host a 4G event in NY City, a place with NO 4G. Well, it';s going to be the biggest and best 4G switch on in history. Yepp thats right, NYC will be getting 4G in only a few weeks. It just makes sense, Sprint can't be that dumb....However, that walmart deal in the talkings. Don't think because noone is talking about it that it haas died. Very much not soo. This will drastically improve sprints coverage and put it light years ahead of any competitor. What's even cooler? If LTE is soo much better than WiMAX in a few years (which i dont think so, but we'll save that topic for another day) Sprint can easily switch to it as it has applied for LTE spectrum range.

If anyone see anything that should be added just give a shout. Hope this cleared EVERYTHING UP!!! =]

U mean may not march rofl. And ty for keeping us informed. You do a great job.

It is 3 times not 2 times.

They do not report the incident with the rating system.

The only way you would get a report filed is if you double claim.

I deal with a lot of tech. So I have coverage of anything on my person at all times with my insurance company.

They told me that if you file a claim with them they will have to report it to the rating board. If you only file a claim with sprint, they do not and can not report it.

Asurion is not insurance. They are a service and product replacement company. They do not write you a check. They do not report lost, stolen, or damaged claims. They simply repair broken phones and replace them.

It would be against the law for them to file a monetary damage with the reporting agency, if there was no money exchanged.

It is not insurance, it is a replacement program.

But in order to file the claim they have to hand you cash.
I meant if you file with Asurion you can only do 2 claims a year, I was unaware it is 3 now when I worked they would only allow 2. And I know it is not "insurance" I know they are a replacement company but all of the literature we had referred to Asurion insurance for your device. Also I never said Asurion writes you a check, you pay a deductible and they give you a phone. State Farm writes you a check if you use them NOT ASURION. Also I never said Asurion reports to a rating company, I said if you use your 2 claims (3 now I guess according to you) within a 12 month period they will "drop" you, meaning you cannot file again for until the next year or if you buy a new device. If you insist on correcting people all of the time (which I see you do a lot) either read the post or make sure YOU are right first. I really do agree with alot of your posts and I am glad we have you here you have a lot of knowledge. I am sad to say though in your interpretation of my post and your subsequent correction you are wrong :(

How can one not like this guy? He delivers over and over again!

Now now children play nice.
I play nice, I don't give much "advice" here but when I say something I don't just make it up or pull it out of my ass. Like I said I appreciate River's opinion and knowledge. Just understand what I am saying before you pick it apart. Then again I have to admit I do not always express myself the clearest so I apologize if I confuzzeld anyone :) By the way cunfuzzeld is my word but you can use it if you like. :)

Let me see if I have this right... When the EVO 4G is released, it will have:

  • 1 GHz Snapdragon processor

Also, 1GB RAM? confirmed...? I don't see it.

Yeah, where did 1 GB RAM come from? Don't get me wrong, I'd kiss a fat man for 1GB RAM, but I don't remember hearing about that from any of the posts/leaks?

But hey, I could and most definitely am wrong, so... Thanks for the complete writeup Bill, keep up the great job.

Sir, I beg to differ. It has 8gb of internal memory and 512mb of ROM read by definition you cannot write to ROM it has 8gb of internal storage... please don't throw around words you do not understand.
