Really Bad Wifi Signal Stock/Root CW ICS

I Have a really bad wifi signal after rooting? its the basic root method with Clockwork, on ICS

It has always been crappy but now I get 1 bar 10 feet from the router ?
I have much networking experience but not with these phones so I really haven't a clue here.

Any and all help is welcome.

I haven't noticed any WiFi issues when I rooted using the Odin method with the Agat 0.6.8 kernel on ICS. I would clear data for WiFi. Have you considered dropping JB on your phone? I have found overall performance to be much better than it was on ICS for everything.

You might want to change what channel your router is on in its settings. If you're channel is overlapping another I noticed the S2 is a little finicky with the connection
