Root (Fixed) Can't get a gps lock anymore

After flashing numerous times of cm10 roms (while using gps fix) to see what I liked, I noticed that the gps doesn't seem to be active anymore. I flashed swains GPS fix or used pg 8_17 build and nothing worked. I reverted back to c stock (waited till the 100 check during unbrick and did it again, hard reset) yet gps will not get a lockon. Even the compass is screwed like the way it is on the cm10 roms. Has anyone experienced this issue?

Mine kept on doing that. Like you said even after doing the unbrick method. I started from scratch and just rooted (didn't restore any stock backup). I think after about a couple of days the GPS finally fixed itself.

Okay, its only hours ago since I started from c. I'll see what happens tomorrow.

I went back to stock today from PG's 5/17 with all the fixes. Everything was working pretty good just the battery life was awful, the phone kept on getting hot, and the phone was sluggish. Sometimes the phone would just freeze. After restore my working stock, the GPS is doing the same thing, it locks on a few blocks away

I think I got it working again, I was gonna purposefully brick my phone and see if any files involving gps would be fixed and replaced when using KDZ. Well it turns out when I was using KDZ I unplug the phone while it was updating (stopped it at 84 checkmark) and then I felt like checking gps one more time and then FINALLY a gps lock happened in a second or two. Going to try out PGs build again

Edit: Its not highly recommended what I did, was going to format /system and then unbrick
