Anybody still have this phone

My wife still has her rise. It must be a good one because it has been relatively problem free, just a reboot every several weeks. It's running the usual speed tweaks and root apps.

Still rocking mine, works pretty well, would definitely like a better camera but am addicted to the sliding keyboard. Seems to be pretty solid!

Currently Rise is my favorite phone on VMs entire line up disregarding features it will always have something to distinguish itself from others and thats qwerty.Definitely not a fan of anything else besides forementioned

I have mine and coming from the Samsung intercept this feels like a much faster phone. I never use the slide out keyboard hardly though with SwiftKey and Google keyboard from the play store being so great these days. I'm really wanting the s2 but wish it had 4g Lte..

The Victory 4GLTE has LTE... It just costs twice what the Rise does. Granted, it is literally twice the phone. (twice the storage space, twice the pixels, twice the CPU (more than twice), twice teh RAM... :p )

I'm pretty shire that the possibility of the kyocera phones ever getting the bootloaders ever un locked eather through the community or by the manufacturer is none huh nd even if thay did would it be possible to un brick it btw I bricked my rise nd event...

I have my Rise and it is great. I have it super tweaked runnning everything fast. Low battery drain, excellent signal no matter where I am at. I can watch Netflix with no lag on 3g. If I could only unlock the bootloader! Maybe one day! But it is a great phone once it is tweaked properly!

This is my first post :)

I've had this phone since Oct/Nov 2012 and have not had any problems. I'm using Smart Launcher, Juice Defender, Uncheck/Force Stop Connections Optimizer, Wifi OFF, 3G ON, no auto sync and can get at least 36 hours use before having to recharge.

Got the Rise and VM as an experiment versus my Verizon $100+ account and can pretty much get the same coverage as Verizon. I'm very pleased with this phone and so far with VM

Will be running this phone until I can get enough cheap topups to pick up either a F3 or Victory. Then the Rise will be used as a dev phone to work on getting cwm running for y'all.

You have more patience than I. As soon as I get a replacement the Rise is becoming target practice. Kyocera/Sanyo will never see my business again.

I here ya, its been the wife's phone, but she is getting annoyed with it. Can't complain too much for $29.99.

I still have it but it freezes alot. Looking at getting either the lg optimus f3 or samsung victory but not sure which one to get f3 is cheaper so heading in that direction.

Just got one for the wife. She's coming from a cheaper slider with no Android and tends to drop, lose or run over her phones so this was a good choice for her as it's inexpensive. Seems like a nice little phone.

I just got the victory (great phone and great devs working on it) my wife has rise and just got firmware update yesterday and now battery dies in 3 hrs. Any suggestions?

My forementioned still stands especially when gaming will get get raped using just straight touch at least with qwerty you can map key presses to buttons. This is insiginificant though given I have a red samurai BT controller for my Rise

I have bricked two events and one rise. Both events using rom manager tweaks, the rise bricked on it's own. Didn't even get to play with it first, the gave me the event in exchange. Love them when they work. Take it barebones and use link2sd. Do not play with rom manager fonts, my quest for aesthetically pleasing typography has twice ruined me lol.
